Additional Details

Trade ally contractors are selected for participation in this promotion through a rigorous process and are required to verify the eligibility of your property. Each trade ally will have a set of predetermined models available for this promotion and are responsible for determining the appropriate system size for each property in alignment with participation guidelines. Equipment sizing will be based upon the approximate square footage of the property’s primary living space and the home’s insulation levels. Equipment will have a heating performance seasonal factor (HSPF) of 9.0 or greater.

This promotion allows a single indoor head unit paired with an outdoor heat pump system installed in the rental home’s primary living space. The indoor head cannot be installed in a bedroom or small space such as a bathroom.

Not eligible for this promotion:

  • Homes that are owner-occupied
  • Homes with existing gas furnaces
  • Manufactured homes
  • Accessory dwelling units (ADUs)
  • Homes that require multi-head systems or larger sized systems
  • Short-term rentals and vacation homes
